Welcome to my website. I will be regularly adding new images to my portfolio and content to my blog, some will be from my archives and will tell a story of what I have been up to with my camera in recent years. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as I did capturing them. Nearly all were taken within a 30 minute drive or 15 miles from my studio in sunny Ventnor on the south side of the Isle of Wight where i have been based for over 30 years.

It has been an interesting journey since I inherited my Grandpa's SLR camera in the 1980’s. I’m self taught and today I use a full frame Nikon DSLR with a selection of lenses and filters and quite often a tripod. I use my camera and sometimes my phone as a tool to express my art and to record inspirational things in day to day life.

What ever the weather, if I am at the beach for sunrise, sunset or for the surf; lovely and warm or soaking wet and freezing cold; lost in the mist or travelling to far away places; being outdoors with a camera has always been very significant in my life.

If you have a favourite place or specific shot in mind please get in touch and I will do my best to help.’
